So, you just joined Chispa newly and felt like taking a screenshot of important information, profile, or chat? Or probably you did it mistakenly and don’t want to sound like a weirdo? Do you think your partner (the person at the other end) would get notified?
Does Chispa notify screenshots?
No. Chispa doesn’t notify users of screenshots taken. While using the app, you can choose to take screenshots of any page, including a profile, chats, or a picture. However, before doing this, there are things to note.
The popularity of the screenshot notification feature, pioneered by Snapchat, has gained a lot of momentum, over time, causing a lot of people to be clung to the notion and possibility that a second party could get notified when you take a screenshot.
While this may be true for platforms like Instagram and Snapchat, that’s not always the case.
You may have wanted to make a screenshot of a blissful conversation you’re having with a Chispa user, Or a bothering message you got from someone – so you need an explanation for that.
Undermining the reason, there are several times you might have felt the urge to take a screenshot on the Chispa app. But on the other hand, you want to keep things going, -don’t want them to get notified- so they don’t take you as a weirdo.

Do you think taking these screenshots would get them notified?
No. Just like most apps created by Match Group (MTCH) and Univision Communication, the team behind Chispa, Chispa doesn’t notify you when you take screenshots. But there are things to note before taking screenshots.
This freedom is not selective to a particular type of device or page, as you can capture just whatever you find on the platform including messages, profiles, pictures, etc, and on any device, be it an Android, iPhone, Windows, or a MAC.
Read on to find out things you should note, before taking these screenshots on Chispa.
Is it illegal to take screenshots from Chispa?
Don’t just dance into the motion that you can take screenshots on Chispa and no one is going to know, since the platform doesn’t have an integrated notification feature for screenshots.
You should limit yourself on how you use that freedom.
It is imperative to think that the company can’t get their hands on you, especially when you bridge their policy, by sharing screenshots for commercial use, blackmailing someone, or by just even posting them out of the platform.
If you want to take a screenshot on Chispa, it should only be used, personally. If you should go overboard, then you should get permission from the second party to do so.
On the other hand, if just want to make a meme out of a chat you find hilarious, then do well to censor the person’s name and any trace to the users. If possible, also ask the user for permission to do so.
This should be a notice to every user on the platform.
Creating a profile on Chispa is more like creating it for the outside world. Anyone, provided they’re a member of the platform. could go take capture of whatever thing you post, share and chat about.
In rare cases, they could even make a copy of it and spread them. The next thing, you could be the talk of the day- you’ve been blackmailed.
For this reason, you should always be mindful of what you post, share or talk about, owing to the fact that Chispa is not a walled platform.
Can you see who screenshots your Chispa?
You may want to know whether Chispa is well advanced to keep the stats of people (by their name) who take screenshots of your profile.
Currently, Chispa can only keep a count of the total number of subscribers who visits your profile. However, this feature is only shown to subscribers’ end.

Coming back to the question, Can you see who screenshots your Chispa?
No. Just as Chispa can’t detect when screenshots are taken on the platform, there’s also no feature that could tell a user the name of a possible profile who took a screenshot of your content.
How to screenshot on Chispa without them knowing
We’ve already made it clear that you can take screenshots easily on Chispa. And since no one gets notified, the process is seemingly traditional. But if you find a guide to be ideal, here’s how to screenshot on Chispa without them knowing:
First of all, you’ll want to head on to the Chispa app and log in to your account. Now, head over to the contents you want to screenshot and swipe your android phone down to the taskbar/toolbar. Tap on the screenshot icon, afterward.
This only applies to some of the latest android phones, produced from 2019 upwards.
If you find yourself with an old Android phone that lacks the screenshot feature, then you’ll need to get a third-party app installed on your phone. For this purpose, I recommend Xrecorder.
On iPhones or iPad:
- Search for the “Chispa app” on your phone
- Log into your account and navigate to the content which you want to screenshot
- Hold the downward volume of your iPhone, while pressing the power button together
- Release, immediately
You’re allowed to take screenshots on Chispa, without any party getting notified. However, you shouldn’t take advantage of this freedom, as going overboard to share it with the public without the other party’s consent is a legal offense.
